The staff were very friendly and the food in the bar was amazing! Good breakfast, local resourced produce. A good selection of wines in the bar that you could buy by the glass.
Room was very, very small and freezing when we arrived. I think the room was not good value for money...but then the breakfast almost made up for that. Also on very busy road, horrible position, would not have liked to have stayed there with children. You also had to cross the road to get to a garden which was lovely but the road was far too busy and noisy to enjoy it.

Good breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff.
Very busy road in front and 'suite' is a bit of a misnomer. Room was ok but not luxurious like you would think from the photos.

We could not fault the evening meals at the hotel as they were perfectly cooked and presented. They have an excellent chef. The staff are very friendly and efficient, our room was modern and comfortable and the hotel is attractive and has a nice atmosphere.
The hotel is set alongside a busy road and although it didn't disturb our sleep(our room had inner windows to help shut out the traffic noise)it was quite hazardous crossing over the road to get to the hotel car park. The choice of continental breakfast was poor, only offering a small selection of cereals and orange juice. There was, however, a good choice of cooked breakfast and it was of a good standard.

Despite the slightly drab exterior, inside it was modern and stylishly decorated. Although on a main road, it was not noisy. The bedroom was very comfortable. The restaurant was open all afternoon, which was a boon for us. Excellent cooked breakfast.
Design of bed was a little awkward. Disappointed by the expensive "award-winning" cheese & biscuits in the restaurant - stale cheese and dodgy grapes (although the other food was very good).

Good selection for breakfast such as toast, cereal, and fruit. they have the option for cereal, which is a nice touch. Located in a convenient spot close to restaurants and the lovely Wylie valley area 🌳.

Traditional english pub style hotel. Had indoor skittles to keep you entertained in the evening. The breakfast was good (two sausages for a change).
The lorries don't drive past at 30 mph. I didn't like crossing the road outside.
